I just received an email from DTP that said I would receive my payment this week (I'd written earlier.) I'm pleased the rep followed my problem as promised.

I see that many people have had problems, but I'd say Amazon is easy to work with in comparison to some of the large national book wholesalers. After providing copious documentation about a half dozen times, I just received $30 from over 2 years ago from one large wholesaler!

Hopefully everyone will receive their payments this week.

Linda

It sounds like we should get our March payment by tomorrow, June 5th. March was a huge month for me, too.

No and I sent an email to Amazon DTP admin asking about it.
I seem to be doing better than most. All my payments come
into my bank account within a day of the scheduled deposit
date. (60 days) So February effects the date by 2 days BUT
if the month has 31 days there's no change in the deposit
date.
I hope they get it correct soon as this and my Social Security
check, thanks to the crash of Fanny and Freddie are the
ONLY income I have to live on.

Hello,

The problem with the the sales report for June has been fixed and you should be able to view them in your account.

Further, payments for the month of the March, 2009 have been processed this week. Please note, it can take up to five business days for the funds to appear in the available balance of your bank account. It will be paid by bank transfer directly into your bank account. Please allow until after that time before reporting your Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment as late or missing.

If you have not received payment for the months prior to March, please write to us at dtp-support@amazon.com so that we can research further. Please make sure to write to us from the e-mail address associated with the DTP account.

Thanks!

I still haven't received my March payment, and it sounds like I should have received it today?

WHAT A JOKE!!!!!! I'm empty as well. The "Float" keeps on making money off of our monies. I have a friend that works as an ADA in upstate Florida; I think I'll ask if we might have a suit.

I think 5 business days from 6/4 if you take the minute he posted as the last possible amazon action date - which puts it out to 6/11 before you should notify. I haven't received mine, either - and also the latest it's been for me.

Lying to us and taking our royalties to pay the big guys for their crappy freebies instead. Disgraceful.

Well, hardly that. HarperCollins pays royalties twice a year and is about six months behind. Some university presses pay royalties once a year, again about six months behind.

Besides, there's no much money to be had on 'float' these days. My bank now reckons interest in tenths of a percent.

cub06h,

I don't really care how HarperCollins or some university presses pay, I only care how Amazon/DTP pays and so far this month they haven't. Don't say how bad other situations are to how good we have it here. Your cup is half full attitude is commendable but hardly pertinent.

Well, if it troubles you so much, here's a quick solution: unpublish your books and find another publishing solution.

I agree--quitwiditawriddy! Who cares about how bad the other sheisters pay? This has nothing to do with them. Amazon needs to pay their bills on time and, since they paid everybody else for March, including the mobipocket people, they have to pay us, too.

Cough it up, Amazon. You told us you processed our payments. Our banks insist you did not. So, once again, WHERE ARE OUR ROYALTIES FOR MARCH?!
