I don't think there's a problem. When you're on your bookshelf page, with the book listed, there should be a "Publish" button on the right - it might be necessary to scroll right to see it. Click on that, and your book will go into review for 24-48 hours, then it will go "Live".

When a book is in "Ready" status, it's all set to go, but not yet actually published.

Hello,
I hope I'm posting this in the appropriate forum. I published my new Kindle book a few days ago
and the status still shows it as "Ready" instead of "Live". I followed all the necessary steps and instructions. I don't understand this. I didn't receive any email indicating that there is a problem.
Why has it not gone live yet? Please help.

Thanks.

It's very odd, but I notice that July started with day-to-day reporting on the MTD report, and now it's back to only the number of copies sold in the cumulative period and not daily. How does one separate out daily sales except by logging on daily? I used to just lump everything together by month in which it appears as of month end date and title but it can be confusing. And while that shows up clearly enough I have already been shorted once.

I studied the royalty provisions and they separate out UK and US sales, so it's easy to determine what the royalty percent is. But I was beginning to like the daily report, so will this return in the next month (hopefully?)?

Re: publishing in greek language

Following is the answer from support. I guess Smashwords is the option for the languages not currently supported by dtp, but Smashwords is completely open without DRM, so I guess one must wait 1-2 years following the titles release…

Hello Apostolos,

Please note that you can upload and sell books only in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese at this time.

Although we do not currently support publishing in Greek, we are continually working to expand the number of languages and titles that are available to our worldwide audience, and we’re excited that you want to offer your title.

I will keep you posted as we work to make this option available to DTP publishers. Thanks again for your interest in publishing on Kindle.

Have a nice day!
