Do you have more than one amazon account? Typically this happens when one uses a different account/login.

By the way, under the new terms, Amazon is mandating that dtp publishers consolidate multiple account to one.

Best of luck,

Well, my info and content disappeared under a virgin login ... in other words, it was a first time use. I had a pending with the "24 to 48 hour review" period notice before publication. Today, zip. I just hope it's REALLY lost because this isn't exactly public info (bank/ssn) we're providing.

Anyone have a clue how to recover the data?

I uploaded my novel and account information last night and it was marked as pending after I submitted it for publication. Today my shelf is empty and there is no sign of the data. Can I recover it? Where did it go? And why did it go there?

Is there an Amazon DTP person out there who can help me find this stuff?

From their website, there's no evidence that Apple's bookstore has any interest in signing up anyone. Of course, they may end up like Sony, happily signing you up to provide content when they're ready, then leaving you to sit waiting for a couple years because they're not ready yet if your family name doesn't happen to be Penguin.

Try this on- I've had the message

"Your book is currently under review by the Kindle Operations team as we are trying to improve the Kindle customer experience. Please check back in 48-72 hours to see if your book was published to the store."

on my shelf for 4 MONTHS!

My book is very well reviewed, and is selling ok on the regular Amazon store- very suspicious- is that why it's locked in 'Amazon Jail?'

Has anyone had any luck publishing with Apple, on the iBookstore? It seems kind of walled off at the moment- any rumors out there, about when it will open up more to the smaller (but beautiful and delicious) fish?

I have a title that was not published due to a third party logo. DTP sent me an email letting me know that they would not be publishing it. The publishing status has remained (in green) that it is under review. I was hoping to have it change to draft so that I could edit out the logo and republish. Instead, I have resubmitted it as a new title since it has been nearly a month since they declined. Is there any way to remove the unpublished title from my shelf? It is a small annoyance, but I would like to find a way to remove it.
