Hello,

Your royalty is based on 35% of the suggested retail (list) price you provide for the book (please see the DTP terms and conditions). In the example you've given, the book with a $9.99 suggested retail price selling for $11.99 to international customers will have royalty equal to $3.49 (35% of the suggested retail price of $9.99).

Thanks!

When you prepare to publish your work, you have to check Yes in a field to answer that you hold the digital rights. The earlier Kindle publishing panel did not have that field, they added that this year.

But I might want smaller letters for bigger books, I only purchased two so far and downloaded a few samples.

I think it is a really good idea that Amazon provides this, so people can purchase the books from the catalog even before they decide to buy their Kindles. Then they get hooked ... and want to read the rest of the book on the train!

Adobe has a pdf - to - html converter, it might be worth testing it for you.

Check out the Adobe site, you can find it there. Or you can just email your pdf file and they will email it back to you - you can find the email address in one of my earlier posts.
