Andi,

I think it shows that you have a very interesting story to tell. Genre-wise, it is something I would consider as film/documentary viewing but not for reading.

You may have an issue with Briticcisms? I think majority amazon kindle ebook readers are still accustomed to American English and that is where their comfort level is at.

It is dynamic and conversational in tone - for some readers that is good, for some readers that is offputting.

I think, if you are trying to improve sales and that is prompting your query to the forum here, your best bet is building your platform - website, blog, twitter, participation in discussion forums related to your book. No need to be blatant (which I haven't seen you be), just a small teaser and link in your signature line.

I'm just rambling a bit ... I did the "pull from distribution" on a book (that wasn't even supposed to be distributed) on B&N via Smashwords about 2 months back, and it FINALLY disappeared. I'm of mixed feelings - it had been on the top 50 free (usually top 30) for the better part of six months and had 200+ ratings and 24 reviews. And didn't really help me sell any content :scratches head:

I do wonder if wootabox is using the same version of DTP we are (what browser are you using?) - do, e.g., createspace account holders have different access that looks different?

Anyway, I'm attaching 2 screen captures that will hopefully help you. Note some stuff has been cut from the screen capture to help it all fit in a reasonable space. Hoping the files aren't too big!

Not sure as I haven't done one new under the new dashboard - but did you hit "Save & Publish" button on the second page of your dashboard view for the specific title. There are two tabs in prepping for publish "Your Book" and "Rights & Pricing" tabs - you have to have a "[checkmark] complete" on each tab. But that just means it's "ready" - you have to hit the actual Save & Publish command - maybe you just hit "save for later" - in which case your main dashboard view (showing all the titles you have) will just say "Ready" under Status.

[edited to add - it will not say "ready" if you've hit publish - it will say something like "in process" or "in review"]
