I'm not considering raising any prices, I don't have the room to on their length or prior publishing history. Rather I'm thinking of how I can bundle shorts I have to make the 2.99 minimum - and what stories I need to write to fill the gap (i.e. 2 that go together but don't justify the higher price point - need to write a third that fits the general theme...).

George - there are 2 answers

Right now - you get 35% of list - regardless of what price they actually sale it at. E.g. you set a list price of 10, then your royalty is 3.50 even if they discount it to $7

However, if your book meets certain requirements (including that its price falls between 2.99 and 9.99) - come this summer - your royalty (again, IF YOU QUALIFY) will be 70% MINUS a small per transaction fee based on the file size of your book.

Additionally, you cannot price it below .99

Me - for other than short stories, I don't charge more than .025 per print page equivalent (and generally less) for ebooks.
